Two operating systems

I have a PC that currently has two operating systems on
it. Windows XP & Windows 2000. I'd like to remove
Windows 2000 (long story on what happened - but I don't
think it's a good install of 2000). Anyway, how can I go
about removing the 2000 install without damaging the XP
install?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I should clarify - I just want to remove the option to
choose the operating system when booting - I just want it
to boot XP.

Boot into Windows XP. right click my computer -
properties - advanced - startup and recovery click
settings and choose your options in there.
This will make the system not look for the windows 2000
partition if you choose the time as 0 and default OS as
WinXP
