Hi
These last few days every update or program download is a binary file.
This is happening since I formatted and reloaded Vista
Would anyone know were the fault woud lie?

Another problem is that my desktop icons are very large even at
1650x1050 and text is very small.
I have loaded my monitor software after Vista install to try ro fix,
but to no avail. How would I fix that too please?

Hi, Martin.

Could you please give us at least a basic description of your computer so
that someone might have a better chance of giving you some pertinent advice?

Make and model of your computer, or motherboard and graphics card if you
built it yourself? And your monitor, too. Which specific version of Vista:
Vista Home Basic RTM? Vista Ultimate x64 SP1? Or something in between.
There are some important differences in how the different configurations
display graphics.

Why did you format and reload Vista? Were you having problems before? What
kind of problems?

I already use FDM
I'm beginning to think that Firefox is taking over somehow
