Well Happy Birthday to you, Shay.
The manufacturer of your PC should have provided an option for you to
re-install the operating system should you have need to. This would take the
form of either a recovery disk or a recovery partition. Check the manual
that came with the PC to see what it say's about recovery of the operating
system. You may even have to create a recovery disk yourself, so check the
manual carefully.
To check to see if your operating system is activated, Click the Start
button and the click on Control Panel. In Control panel, click on the System
Icon. The last section of the 'view basic information about your computer'
page in the system window you will see a section marked 'Windows
Activation.' Underneath this you should see the words 'Windows is Activated'
