How to type a number to a base

Hello All.
I am using a laptop with Vista Home.

I need to express numbers to different bases.
such as
16 decimal as 16 sub 10
1010 binary as 1010 sub 2
101 111 octal as 101 111 sub 8
49 hex as 49 sub 16
I looked in the character map, but did not find any suitable\
characters there, or I might have missed it. can anyone help?

That's not a feature of an OS. What program are you doing this in? Check
the help for that program for how to subscript selected text.
