I can get to my companies webmail and open my email. I can see all messages
and attachments. However, when I try to reply, I can att the name and subject
but in the area where you are supposed to type the message there is a box
with a little red x like it is not recognizing the area. How can this be
fixed. It works on my other computers, just not on the new vista computer.
Also, I've turned off some of the security features to see if that is the
cause.

Hi,

It's an issue that requires that the mail server be patched, see:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911829

In short, you can't fix it from the user end, it needs to be addressed by
the mail server admin.

Thank you Rick...If I can't get webmail to work there is no real reason for
the laptop!

I had heard that microsoft will send you the software to go back to xp if
you are having issues...Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi,

Both Business and Ultimate have downgrade rights, Home versions do not, but
this also depends on the system manufacturer. They are not required to, but
you have to contact the system manufacturer and ask.
