If you turn it off, will it make Vista faster? And if so, how do you turn it
off?

No, Actually It Will Make Windows Vista Even Slower, Just FYI. Your Better
Option Is 2 Unlock The Built In Administrator Account (UAC Is Always Turned
Off In The Built In Administrator Account), Also Just FYI.

Hello
A.) You won't see/notice any difference one way or the other
B.) It makes just as much sense as leaving your front open at all tim
so you can get in and out faster
Don't do it if that's the only reason

Hello,

No it will not make Vista any noticeably faster or slower with UAC on
or off. You might read the information in this tutorial to help with
your question. I would recommend that you leave UAC turned on as is for
the best security.

You can go here and download a reg file to turn it on and off.
Lines 7 and 8.
You must reboot for this to work.

Yes. I have turned it off since the first day of my Vista. Since I have got
security program on board. Many month passed and still very well and
peaceful mind of a windows user. The UAC is the worst thing on Vista for me.
