Among others, the following games are available for Ubuntu:

Quake3, Quake4, Doom3 all have native Linux versions as do:

Unreal Tournament 2004
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Enemy Territory
Postal2

and more ...

So you admint the Ubuntu is for playing games and NOT doing any REAL work.
Especially with that OpenSores software that doesn't amount to a hill of
beans!

You sure are a continous pest around here.

First the lies and the bluster.

Um, many have said that Windows is better than Ubuntu for games. I just
disproved it; hence, this post. Please try to keep up.

And, of course, the usual unfounded insult:

> You sure are a continous pest around here.

If my posts bother you either use self control and don't read them or,
if you have no self control, use the kill file filter that comes with
your Outhouse Distress news reader.

Um, many have said that Alias is a pain in the ass and shouldn't post on the
vista.general group. Please try and pay attention.

Do you even run Vista on any of your systems?

He can't run Vista on his machines. He is the Ubuntu Marketing Department
and they would get mad if he did. One more thing, even if he did run Vista,
he couldn't use it because all of his time is spent here in the
vista.general group preaching Ubuntu

People say a lot of things and I do keep up. I just don't heed what the
likes of you and Frank demand.

It doesn't.

Sorry, but "Ditto there" makes no sense.

And this has what to do with games on Ubuntu? To answer your question,
now that I know I can run games on Ubuntu, I am removing Vista from one
of my machines where I installed it out of curiosity. Want to buy it?

First lie:

Second lie:

Third lie:

Fourth lie:

Did your mommy or your daddy teach you to lie like that, Billy Boy?
