I guess the geeks were busy trying to do patchwork. I tried Ubuntu for a
day or two and realized that Ubuntu is not ready for prime time.

Maybe in 5-10 years!

Maybe you haven't seen his other posts. He doesn't like Ubuntu. Ubuntu
keeps coming out with patches all over the place days after a major release.
Typical for geeks who program free software. They just don't have a clue.

Remember Ubuntu is FREE and NOBODY wants it. That should tell you all you
need to know about it.

Don't have to wait for Windows 7 for an OS to just get better with every
upgrade.

waiting.

That means nothing, other than you not knowing how open-source software is
managed and developed.

Would you invest in this open source venture? Big deal not knowing how open-source
software is managed, and developed. It's better to know in what ever the venture
is, that consumers rule, and not producers. Open source can be as idealistic as
Marxist utopia, or as realistic high quality, efficient production machine (it's
neither), why don't these open source developers for Ubuntu have no, to very
little customers?

Who needs to know the dynamics of open source, Mr. Syndrome? Here you go, have a
turn, I'm listening, sell me Ubuntu, tell me why. Make me feel good about this
potential purchase. Be different Mr. S. Syndrome, because word of mouth,
particularly here (for all reasons big and small), is not too good. Change it,
let's see the faith, and belief in this open source venture, called Ubuntu.

You're ill informed. There are millions of home users, businesses and
government offices using Ubuntu.

You should stick with Windows. Your bias and prejudice keeps you from
having an open mind.

Still waiting for that website address of your super booming Ubuntu business you
claim to have, that's OK you've done your best, you can't sell, and no one buys
you.
