Why does messenger not have a consistent appearance with the rest of the
live family? All the other live programs I've used are using a consistent UI
except live. Is this in the works or is the UI as intended?

What I'd like to see is my color settings saved. So if i log in to messenger
and have a black UI, i want to log in to live mail (desktop and web) and have
a black UI. Photo gallery, black UI, live.com, home.live.com black UI, ANY
live program a black UI.

if a user doesnt want this, they can change it in their account page
(account.live.com).

Make this option defalut. many want this...

Greetings Mike,

It's interesting that Messenger gets a gradient effect and the others doesn't isn't it?

I think you can get away with the gradients in Messenger since conversation windows and the
contact list aren't generally maximized. It is a bit interesting the toolbar in Messenger
conversation windows are devoid of any text too.

I wouldn't expect any changes at this point, Messenger even lost its 'beta' moniker in the
application itself.

The question is what verson is mike using? 8.1 or the 8.5 beta. 8.5 looks
much nicer, but i cant use it since theres no 64 bit support. Though I did
use beta 1 and liked it....
