Ulead Video Studio 7 captured video correctly before I installed XP
SP2. Now when I attempt to capture video the program freezes. To
verify that the firewall wasn't causing the problem I turned it off,
but recieved the same results.

If you have Windows indexing on, turn it off and make sure it stays off.
I'm not sure that's your problem but it worked for me in a similar
situation.

Hi, i have a similar problem using Pinnacle Studio 9.1 If I want to start the
capturing, the program blocks. This can be "solved" by disconnecting the
camera from the fire-wire gate. However, the next time capture doesn't work
again. Can you tell me some more on how to solve this? (or on how this
windows indexing stuff works?)

Hi, I have a similar problem with Pinnacle Studio 9, I can not start
capturiing and the computer freezes, disconnecting the fire-wire connection
of my camera stops the 'freezing', but I can not use the program. Can you
tell me some more on the windows indexing and how to disable?
