Ulimate addition, maybe we should sue?

Has anyone started a poll on their disatisfaction with Vista and especially
the Ulimate version.

I just can't believe how bad this OS. Moving back to XP pro runs perfectly.

Maybe we should start a class action against them or be compensated?

last time i made a poll i got talked to that this is showing on the website,
and that it's not what newsgroup is about, but all i have to say is that i
thought about suing them a long time ago, but the nice thing is that the
customers are getting so mad that in the near future they should go outa
bussiness hopefully

Perhaps if you specified the problems you're having with Vista, someone here
might have a suggestion on how to address said problems. I've installed
Ultimate on five different hardware platforms and it's run like a top on
all. The only complaint I've had about Vista is the file copy horror. Other
than that, no problems whatsoever. Well, that's not true... I had one
desktop that had an issue with external USB hard drives, but I didn't have
that issue on the two laptops on which I am currently running Vista. So...
two complaints. But day-today performance has been as good, if not better,
than XP.

Lang, you don't understand as many of other posters here also do not
understand.
The result is that there is some name calling of TROLLS.

Listen I nor others who think vista stinks bit time are trolls. But we may
not be coming here to try to find solutions to fix vista either. We don't
like vista and we
want to express that dissatisfaction and the fact that we are EXTREMELY
disappointed in this new OS Microsoft made. I waited 5 years for this? An OS
that you cannot use?

This is the vista.general newsgroup... this is not a ask for help only
support forum.

You will see more and more people come here disgusted by vista and they wont
be asking for help. I for one know that even if vista is running as
designed,
the design is flawed in the first place.. vista is not fixable unless they
redesign it .. but that will not happen with a service pack, thus vista is
DOOMED.

It would be more productive for you to investigate why you are compelled to
express dissatisfaction; It could be evidence of some pathology.

Most people, when they are not pleased with something, be it a burrito or a
wife, discard the item, shrug their shoulders, and move on. To take up some
affront as a life-cause is indicative of at least miss-placed priorities.
Admittedly, a cause does give meaning to an otherwise empty life, but so do
more productive endeavors.

I think there's a twelve-step program for MSanthropes. It may even be
curable.

And you come here to do what? Criticize people who criticize the OS you
love...

Perhaps this is an evidence of some pathology, a sign that you have too much
time and don't mind your own business...

You have pathological need to "correct" people and make the believe what you
believe.. furthermore,
your empty life finds gratification in calling other people names because in
reality you have no self worth.
By insulting others that makes you feel better....

there is a 1 step cure for that, but I wont tell you what it is since I
don't think its proper to give medical advice over the internet.

Is there a 12 step program for Microsoft fanatics like you?

If the shoe fits... and just to clarify my stance... I have no
issue -whatsoever- with "pros and cons" types of discussions. What I take
issue with are insulting exclamations that serve no purpose other to incite
the "other side." The other thing that bugs me is folks making "I know
everything" type statements like "...vista is not fixable unless they
redesign it..." There is no give and take to such a statement and thus
communication on a "pro/con" level is senseless. And if I'm attempting to
assist someone and one of the trolls who hate to be called troll jumps in
insulting me without offering any alternative suggestion to my own, well...
'nuff said.

An OS -you- cannot, or choose not to, use... I use it fine, and do so on a
daily basis.

I don't think we'll ever come to a common ground on this issue. I disagree.

I disagree. Everyone's singing XP's praises in comparison to Vista. Sure...
XP's had five years to mature. I doubt those same people were singing the
praises of XP when it was initially released. "Give me W2K... I'll NEVER
move to XP! What a horrid UI!"

Surely one has better things to do with one's life than spew hatred over an
OS... but, maybe not.
