It would be interesting if any reader here replies that 'I've got a cable
card and it works great.'.

From what I've read, getting a cable card working in any device, PC or TV
coul dbe a nightmare.

I wouldn't trust the things. Probably have that record/copy bit protection
and to h3ll with fair use.

I prefer such devices to be independent of the OS as much as possible.
Inside the computer would not qualify. Other problems like power
consumption, longevity, driver support. Agreed, could be a nightmare and a
waste of money in a hurry.

Actually I've got two of them. Both are Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600 high
performance PCI TV tuner cards.
One at work and one here at home. Both are on Vista Ultimate x32, SP1.
They work just fine.

Oops. What Am I Saying? This Is For Help With Vista Issues, Not My Mental
Issues. Just FYI.

Did You Know That I Say Just FYI All The Time? Just FYI. This Is Because
Messages Are Just For Your Information And My Poor Mentally Retarted Brain
Doesn't Know That So I Have To Say Just FYI.

Just FYI

Just FYI

Just FYI.

Did I Say Just FYI? IF Not, Just FYI
