Un-wanted deleting by messenger

I have a hugggge problem that may result in my throwing my computer out the
window in anger...
I sign into messenger and all of a sudden all my contacts are blocked...3
seconds later they all get deleted minus 50 of them. I cant get them back
because they are blocked...why is this happening? what can i do? HELP!

Umm, I read about this and might work, go to tools, and options, then choose
privacy section. click on view (as in people who have added you) try right
clicking the names you want and click, add to contacts.
