Few days back posted question here about reboot loop after a failed sp2
installation. Took pc to the shop from where i bought it, who managed to fix
by performing a repair installation. But its a bit slower now. what should i
do to regain original speed?
Before all this problem, I had my c drive for xp and my secondary removable
hard drive (old) with Fat32 file system, and were working fine. Now, after
repair Installation, on booting, a error message occurs stating one of your
disk drives is fat32 and a disk check is recommended with option yes/no. with
'no' preselected. Unable to select 'yes'. Can only click ok. Then it takes a
long time to boot and when it does does'nt recognise secondary drive, Unable
access 'My computer'.etc. I have also bought a secondary new hard drive which
i suppose is of ntfs format. when I use this computer seems towork allright.
I need the data in the old hard drive and would like some advise to make
windows read this drive with fat 32 file system. Thank you.
