Unable to access Yahoo mail

It may be only a coincidence but since the new Windows Update was done this
morning I have been unable to access my Yahoo email account.

Both our windows XP laptops can know not connect to internet at all after
update. However the Apple mac can, and a home computor on windows xp with a
usb wireless connection can. Have just used ethernet one laptop and have know
got that connected, maybe if you are wireless as with my 2 laptops the update
has upset internal wireless card.
If you get a definative answer please let me know

*Specifically*, can you please post which updates were just installed ?
Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Make sure the box is checked to " Show updates ".

The update done May 23 was KB927891. thanks

KB927891 updates the files on the system needed to update the system.
That update *should* not be causing the Yahoo issue.
Suggest you first try some 'housecleaning' by going to the Control Panel
and opening Internet Options
The General page should open
Click the 'Delete Files' button
Put a check in the box to ' Delete all offline content '
Click OK
Now click the ' Delete Cookies ' button
Then click ' Clear History '

Click the Advanced tab
Scroll down towards the bottom until you reach 'Security '
Make sure that these boxes are checked :

Do not save encrypted pages to disk
Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when the browser is closed
Enable Integrated Windows Authentication [requires restart]

Click OK
Restart the system

Did that help any ?
