Hi,
I had a similar problem.. I could not add sites to the Trusted list. Even
the examples wouldn't add.
I solved it by adding the ZoneMap registry key, the complete path should
then be:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet
Settings\ZoneMap
I found that the HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT and the c:\documents and
settings\default user\ntuser.dat (you'll have to load this hive) didn't have
the ZoneMap key either, so I added it to these as well. So that newly created
users don't have to add this key manually.
I checked against my WinXP Pro SP2 workstation and the ZoneMap key was
default set up in the default user profile, so it should be there.
You may also want to check the permissions on the ZoneMap key under your
HKEY_CURRENT_USER key.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Martin
