Unable to apply KB883939

sorry for my previous post in french., then i start agai with my bad
english...
I am unable to apply security patch KB883939 for IE6 on my Win ME
In effect, after applying this patch, windows does not stop correctly, and i
must stop my computer by reset button.
Then, during next restart and others, a lot of these identical messages
occurs :
"Windows cannot update file %1 %2 %3"
For suppress these messages, i must delete the c:\WUTemp directory.
But windowsupdate says always this patch is not applied
The, if i repeat this opération ( windows update etc.), i obtain the same
result.
Somebody an idea ? Thanks

Your English is fine. In that case I can also recommend:

and some of the English newsgroups which specialize in WindowsME.

E.g. with OE and that list of newsgroups
(or the ones you see from pressing Ctrl-w) type sme.
(Both the s and the . are very important! <g>)
