I have had repeated problems with my Tiny PC. I have had to take it back to
factory settings but it seems that I still have a problem. I am updated and
usinf Win XP SP3 and IE8 Beta 2.
When I do check for updates the staus bar just keeps running across. I've
left it running for up to an hour and still no complete screen either with or
without updates.
Any ideas?

0x80248014 WU_E_DS_UNKNOWNSERVICE
The caller has requested some action on a service that is not known to
the data store.

It may be an add-on to IE8BETA2 that's causing the issue.
Disable all add-ons except for ones from Microsoft and see if that
resolves the issue.
