Unable to connect to messenger!

Same problem that a lot of people also have.
It's actually the 11th of september and I can't connect.
Can we get some help please?

I installed a series of MS updates yesterday. Messenger worked fine before
the install, but now I can't connect. My connections to everything else work
just fine. I have re-started the computer. I ran the troubleshooter.
Nothing.

I get error code 81000306.

This was a server-side problem, should be working again now.
