Windows Live Messenger will not connect using video. I can connect using
voice only and text. When a call is attempted, it just says "Video Call
Loading" then times out after a few minutes. Using a Gateway running XP and
IE version 7 with Windows Live Messenger 8.1 and plenty of RAM. The camera is
a Logitech QuickCam. I tried reinstalling the software and everyting else I
can thing of to no avail. Due to my location, I am using a wireless internet
provider (Southwest wireless network - swwn) but using a router that has its
own firewall. Tried disabling the firewall as well with no results. Poth the
caller and other party are running similar equipment and the other is know to
work with other callers using video.
