I get a "not enough diskspace" error copying a 647MB file into a 219GB
Volume, that is completely free. Tried this using explorer, as well as the
move command from the the prompt. Interestingly, explorer copied small files
(27MB) very happily. I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

I:\>move *.img P:\
I:\abc.img
There is not enough space on the disk.
I:\def.img
There is not enough space on the disk.
0 file(s) moved.

I:\>dir *.img
Volume in drive I is Temp
Volume Serial Number is A25E-605E

Directory of I:\

09-09-2007 23:18 679,041,216 abc.img
10-09-2007 00:17 674,673,552 def.img
2 File(s) 1,353,714,768 bytes
0 Dir(s) 0 bytes free

I:\>dir p:\temp
Volume in drive P is Disks b
Volume Serial Number is 6CEB-5356

Directory of p:\temp

30-09-2007 10:46 <DIR> .
30-09-2007 10:46 <DIR> ..
0 File(s) 0 bytes
2 Dir(s) 236,111,654,912 bytes free

You cannot "move" from one drive to another. Use "XCOPY".
