Unable to download

Hi,
I am facing some un-usual issue (Visat Home Premium, IE 7).
I tried downloading some genuine software from net or email atachment form
mail, but the 'File Download' box hangs and the 'OPen', 'Open Floder',
'Cancel' buttons remain disabled.

Hi Rick,

I do not have any antivirus intstalled. I had Mcafee Intrusion but it does
not have email scan function and it was working fine.

But this does not happen with email only. I try to download a file from
website, the 'Download Complete' box hangs or either it says, verifying...

Anti Virus or a Security setting is the cause of this. Any 3rd party Firewall
installed

I restored PC to last good configuration. Its working fine now.
I had never touched the Windows Defender,Firewall or Antivirus.
