Unable to install few updates

Hi,
I have been getting this problem of updates a few months ago now. There are
updates that do not want to install! Even if I download them and try to
install them, no luck. Here is the list of the updates I that cannot be
installed:

2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP (KB974417): Error code: 0x645

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family
Update for .NET versions 2.0 through 3.5 (KH951847)x86. Error code: 0x80070645

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 Update for
Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB982524). Error code: 0x02

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Update for Windows Server 2003 and Windows
XP x86 (KB982168). Error code: 0x02

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 Security Update
for Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP x86 (KB979909)

Being that the following 2 .NET updates are Security updates -

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Security Update for Windows
2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP (KB974417)

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 Security
Update for Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP x86 (KB979909)

suggest you contact MS for *no-charge support* in getting them
installed. The fix for those 2 will also get the other .NET updates
installed. Do NOT mention the other updates or they will try to charge
you. Just mention the 2 Security updates.
