Unable to install KB911961 Update - Annoying Reminder Stays

This Junkmail folder cannot be installed and therefore leaves not only the
OneCare balloon in orange but also keeps the yellow update shield icon in the
tray bar.
Any idea how to either install it or get rid of the reminder?

You will have to install your office disc 2003 again and it should work good
again

you will have to run repair reinstall and get the real disc from office 2003

Harry, do I have to uninstall Office 2003 first or just run the repair
function off the disc?

I have the same error. I don't have office 2003, just outlook 2003. Do I
have to reinstall O 2003 and wipe out all my customizations? At this
point I think I would be happy just to get rid of the yellow Shield
icon.

I tried the repair function first, but didn't work, then uninstalled office
2003 and reinstalled it. Of course SP2 was gone, so I needed to get the 100MB
file again. All my settings were kept, so that when I opened Outlook for
example it looked familiar. After intalling all suggested patches from the
web the reminder disappeared and OneCare (great suite btw) is in green mode
again.
