Thank you for your post! Your advice helped to clear up my update problem.
That
"Windows Live Safety Center Registry Clean-up" really did a number on my
computer. I lost the use of my paid subscription to Norton, it did something
to my video driver, and then, the "blue screen of death"...thank God for Safe
Mode. I was able to fix the other problems with video driver udpdates and
the removal of Norton System Works and the removal of Norton Internet
Security (I now use Zone Alarm). Just when I thought it was over, the Office
update problem "pops up". I did learn plenty from all of this...and one
thing is for sure, I will not be using the "Windows Live Safety Center
Registry Clean-up" any time soon. Thank you again.
