Unable to install updates - error code 0x80070002

I have tried 2 or 3 times to download updates. Some of the updates downloads
and others fail to download. The ones that are downloaded does not install.
When I look up in review update history I see error code 0x80070002. My
operating system is Windows 2000 professional.
If anyone can help would be appreciated.

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you see the 0x80070002

Thanks. I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows and other
softwares updates.
