Unable to install updates or Windows Genuine Advantage Validation

Downloads fine, but can't install. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition Version
5.1 Service pack 2.

Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130)
Got two different errors, I tried multiple times
Error Code: 0x80070005, 0x80246007

I tried all the posslble things I could do, I used MGADiag.exe and
MGADiag2.exe. I'm not using any norton programs. I also checked
permissions, everything is ok with that. I tried also to register some
files, but didn't work either.

I can't also install:
Security Update for Windows XP (KB911562)
Update for Windows XP (KB900485)
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2006 (KB890830)
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer for Windows XP (KB912812)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB908531)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB913580)
Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express for Windows XP (KB911567)

I haven't been able to update in quite a while, I hope to get this fixed soon.

I fixed it on my own, after much messing around.

I have been having EXACTLY the same problems as you!!! I also can not
download the same updates that you listed. Could you possibly let me know
what you did to correct the problem?
