Unable to load windows upate XP-KB914784-x64

I have tried to update my computer with this download but every time I do all
my computer does is keeps reboot then giving you the option to start in safe
mode. If I do start in safe mode windows will load then I have to un-install
the update either with system restore or by add and remove program once
removed windows will load ok.
I have also tried to do selective start up and all so diagnostic startup but
this doesnot change anything it will still not load up until I have removed
the update.

Please remove all third-party anti-virus and/or firewall applications.

For instance, it is known that Tiny Firewall is incompatible with this
update. If you have Tiny Firewall, please check with their support
channels.
