Left click on it, hold the left mouse button down, and drag it to where you
want.

Why didn't I need to use that procedure before?

Sorry, I misread Jane C's response.
That's how I've always moved the toolbar. (Drag and Drop)
I found out though that when I remove the Quick Launch and then
reinstate it the Taksbar is then movable.
Don't get it.

That's strange. I didn't have to remove and reinstate Quick Launch in order
to move the Taskbar. I only had to unlock it.

I found that the Quick Launch must be turned off, as well as unlockin
the taskbar before it can be dragged back to the bottom

I've tried all the procedures listed above to move my taskbar but non
has worked. My taskbar is not locked, I've disabled and enabled my quic
launch, I've disabled my quick launch and still nothing works. Becaus
we are creatures of habit, I can't wrap my mind around my taskbar bein
on the right side of my screen!:confused

I had the same problem on a club members computer.
I was about to give up, then changed the width of the task bar and tried it again an it moved.
Then I returned the width to the the original size and locked it for him.

It is worth a try.
