Unable to play/download film clips from Media Guide

I can not play film clips from the media guide and receive the message
"Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be sure the path is
typed correctly. If it is, the file does not exist at the specified location,
or the computer where the file is stored is offline".
I have checked the Network settings and all streaming protocols are
checked/ticked.
I hav't tried this for a while and have recently installed SP2 without
problems. Any ideas please
