Greetings Mark,
You can probably just delete the folder directly to solve this. To do so, shut down
Messenger, click Start, and enter the following:
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger
(Note: for English Windows only, other languages will have a different path)
Next, double-click on the folder corresponding to your Windows Live ID, then choose Sharing
Folders and then delete the folder corresponding to the Live ID of the person's Sharing
Folder you want to remove.
You can then start Messenger up again.
