Logged on with admin authority I can remove some programs through control
panel, programs and features, but not many including trial version of MS
Office 2007, MS SQL Server, MySQL Server, Skype, Open Office etc, etc. All
the programs I would like to remove were installed using the same admin
user. I believe I have seen this problem reported quite a while back, but
cannot find a solution. The Uninstall, Change, Repair options do not come up
on the window or context menu.

Any idea what is preventing my being able to remove these programs as I see
fit?

I found this. Yes looks like Vista has a problem with it uninstall.

Tx, that helps a bit - still need to delete actual program files manually...
