Unable to run Jave after running updates

Yesterday I downloaded 23 updates that Microsoft told me that I needed.
After doing that we are unable to play Bingo in POGO games. The only way I
can get Jave to run is to disable my Norton Firewall. Any idea which update
could be doing this and is there a way to remove the update that is causing
the problem. I usually don't download the updates because it always causes
some problem somewhere on my computer. I am running Windows XP Home Edition.

(just ensure that you enabe the Windows Firewall before reconnecting to the
internet!)
