Unable to save Movie Maker project as Movie to Hard Drive or CD

I have created a Windows Movie Maker project file. I now need to be able to
save this file as a movie to either hard drive or CD but keep geting a
message advising that Movie Maker is unable to save the file and that I
should check that the source files are still valid and that my target has
sufficient space. All of this appears to be OK but I am still unable to save
the project as a movie. HELP
