Change the SMTP server port from 25 to 80. You can make that change
by going to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced.

I'm having another problem now.
I'm getting a completely different error message.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Mary's Work Email account. Your
server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this
include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server: 'pop.securesever.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

I'm not sure how to correct this. Please help.

What AV client is installed ?

And is your AV client scanning incoming mail(your error message indicates incoming port 110)
- if so, disable the email scanning feature in both incoming and outgoing

Note: Some AV programs require a custom install and deselection of email scanning during installation for that feature to be
disabled.
