Unable to send or receive messages for the {email} acct

I have 5 email accounts in Live Mail and today all of them are getting this
message: Unable to send or receive messages for the {email} account. The
connection to the server has failed.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E

I have tried removing and adding the accounts but get the same error. It
would be hard to believe 5 different providers are having server problems:
Hotmail, Gmail and Comcast. Any assistance is appreciated.

Do not remove accounts from WLMail unless you have backed up your emails
first. Removing an account also removes the account email folders.

That messages means that WLMail could not connect to the email server.
With five different providers, it sounds like a connection poblem, not a
settings problem.
Did you post the question using the same computer?
Do you have a firewall?

That's not the complete error message.
Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
I'm particularly interested in seeing the Comcast and Gmail error messages.
The Hotmail server is known for its flakiness. ;-)

Am also having problems, unable to recv from just 1 acct at Hotmail.

Get the following error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (jc9901) account. To send
and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com
on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer
Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the
list of services.

Server Error: 0x80191002
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80191002

This acct has been working fine until 2 days ago.

Able to manually login to Hotmail and access messages but WLM barfing on it.

I'm having the same problem. Since yesterday WLMail will not dowload any
incoming emails. It still uploads outgoing mail. Entering a new account did
not help. Here is the complete error message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (s.i.kramer) account. To
send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to
http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from
Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click
Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

Server Error: 0x80191002
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80191002

What can I do to resolve it?

I am having the same problem when I go to send some emails and I too have
multiple accounts. Most of mine go through but sometimes if there's an
attachment with the outgoing message then I get the same error message
0x80191002. There is nothing wrong with my router, I can receive all emails
ok. Were you able to resolve your problem.

Thanks. Terry
