Unable To uninstall Trend Micro Pro 2008

I have been trying for the last 4 or so hrs to try and uninstall Tren
Micro Pro 2008, but to know evail. Tell ya, drive a man to drinking
Tried to install the 09 version, so it can replace the 08 version, bu
comes up with a error and can't install. Tried manually, but no go. Doe
anyone know how to really maually, I.E. file by file or any other way
Any help would be much appreciated :

Watch for line wrap on the url. Found this on the Trend Micro site under

I had a good laugh - I read your first line as "I have been trying for the
last 4 or so yrs...". That *is* consistent with the folklore about
uninstalling antivirus programs.

I was going to suggest going to Trend Micro's site to find an
uninstallation program, but I'm guessing that is what gls858 is pointing
you at :-)

Easiest thing in the world...
Use the support diagnisis tool provided by Trend Micro and you can uninstall
TM AV as a breeze.

For some unknown reason. It is all good now. Tried again to uninstall i
and load the 2009 version and it worked. Bloody computers. It'll drive

No, no - you've got it all wrong - computers are *fun*...Fun, I say...

Sometimes I think I fiddle with computers because I like to fiddle, rather
than accomplish anything useful. Otherwise, there's just no explanation for
what I do :-)
