Unable to upd. getting error #0x8ddd0002

I have Windows XP SP2. I can't get updates. Telling me I'm not the
administrator and getting error #0x8ddd0002. I have Norton Internet
Sec/Virus protection. Can anyone help here. I have not seen this prob.
