hey mate..
did as u said at the end is said acces denied..error 80070005  its driving me mad.. norton finaly was updating and it worked..but windows update and windows defender still wont..and i still get that error message about apppatch folder.. I'm not clear at what point you got the "acces denied error". Did the
message occur when you were trying to uninstall the update? Is "Update for Windows Vista (KB935280)" listed in your "View update history"? yes it was dean-dean..then i uninstalled it and installed it from the
