Also reference to muweb above makes me think that you have
also switched from Windows Update to Microsoft Update?
Does that mean you are really using WUv6 instead of WUv5?
In any case make sure that you are using HTTP 1.1 protocol

Ignore the restrictive sounding title. The same resolution would
apply to your OS too.
BTW notice the URLs mentioned in the article. They might help
clarify what update services you are really using.
