Unable to update Windows

Operating System - Vista 32bit. Lenovo Laptop 3000 N100.

Consistently refusing to install 3 of the latest updates. In reading a help
article for Error Code 80070002, I renamed a directory. But I can't remember
which one. Now, I've fixed it to where my computer WILL NOT automatically
search for updates.

PLUS, I still cannot install those 3 files.

Please Help!

i contacted the dumb butts at microsoft,there answer for the udateing problem
was to come here and see if
some one had a fix,they dont know what to do
