How to unblock automatic update in firewall software?

Hi all,

it seems my firewall is blocking Windows 2000 Pro's automatic update
attempts.
Can you tell me what programs (and ports) I have to unblock to make
sure it works again?

Sorry, not a solutions just a question.
What firewall are you using?
All the firewalls that I have used so far allow the automatic updates quite
happily, although some do ask for permission to allow the update software to
access The Internet.
