unblock .chm files quickly

Please,

how to unblock .chm help files quickly and well?

Last, I modified the security settings to allow full control for me,
before I was able to unblock.

I think, I should have to restore the security settings for this file,
but I don't remember the settings before.

Please, I know I didn't enter my question correctly cause my first time to
use a bulletin board...am new vista home premium user and cannot for the life
of me get back to vista from an open acrobat 8 window (which consumes whole
screen) without getting totally out of internet by hitting ctrl/esc. Hey,
those of us who cut out teeth on the very first 386 machines still know how
to do that. but I lose work in vista/internet/website when I'm unable to
close the acrobat 8 window. thoughts???

go to the add-ons of ie and disable anything that has to do with acrobat,
that way the pdfs will be downloaded instead of displayed in the browser
