Undo Remove Device from List

Under the following link, there are good instructions on how to remove a
media share device under Windows Media Player for Vista.

specifically:
To remove the device from the list of available devices, disconnect the
device from your network. In the Share my media to box, right-click the
device, and then click Remove from list.

My Question:
I've misadvertently removed a device that I now need to bring back, but
cannot figure out how to do that. I've tried all sorts of settings,
including allowing devices to connect automatically, to no avail.

Is there a way to reset devices removed form the list?

I did the exact same thing ... sorry, no help here just wondering if you ever
found a solution?

I searched the registry looking for the MAC address of the device I removed
and could not find it in there.

Try
1. Disable sharing in media player (to any device)
2. Reboot
3. Enable sharing in media player. All connected devices should be there.

At least this works in XP
