Uninstall: Error Message

When I try to uninstall one of my programs, I get the following error messages:

Ox8002801c and 1722.

Any help on what these mean? And how to complete the uninstall?

Try reinstalling the application first, then uninstall it.

Tried that. It didn't work. The error message said to fully uninstall first
prior to reinstalling.

Does the software maker provide a cleanup utility for removal of their
applications?

0x8002801c is "Error accessing the OLE registry" (TYPE_E_REGISTRYACCESS).
1722 (0x6ba) is "The RPC server is unavailable" (RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE ).

So whatever you're trying to uninstall - it seems pretty broken, and you
probably would want to contact the vendor. =\
