Uninstall folders

Running XP Home SP2

I have a bunch of uninstall folders within the WINDOWS folder that have been
languishing there for a long time. The folder names are in blue and of the
format "$NtServicePackUninstall$...".

Can I delete these folders without any negative consequence?
