uninstall problems

I was trying to uninstall the many games my grand daughters put on my
computer. I keep receiving this message:
Uninstaller.lua:293:uninstall_open_file.
Can anyone help me?
I just converted to Vista so am still trying to find all tools & features.

Mel,

Go to Google or Yahoo! and look for software that will help uninstall
programs.

Also, as much as you love your grandchildren, DO NOT allow them to install
games on your computer or go on the internet to play games. If you do you
take your chances with trouble and woes for your OS.

I've seen this happen so many times...
