How to uninstall recent update

Hi, I am using WIN XP PRO, SP2 on a Novatech Laptop with Easy Start Buttons.
I downloaded the update--"MITAC TECHNOLOGY CORP. - Input Devices - Remove
Control Device V1.0.0.2 mtc_rmc system software update"-------,today, and now
I find that i get an error "MTC 0001" fail on start up. I believe this is
related to the Easy Start Button program (which no longer works). I have gone
to add remove programs but no reference to the update is available to
uninstall. I have no reference in Device Manager to roll back the driver. How
can i uninstall this update? I do not want to do a restore.
