How to uninstall windows updates

Installed windows security update and now I can't get attachments I need.
How do I uninstall the update?

Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
At the top, check the box "Show Updates"
Look for the specific update.
Double click it and follow prompts to uninstall.

But first are you referring to Outlook Express:
Open OE
Click Tools/Options
Click Security tab.
Uncheck "Do not allow attachments..."
Click OK and follow prompts.
If that is not your issue, post back in a new thread giving more details
such as program denying attachments, error message etc.

Uninstalling an update should NOT be the first step to solve a problem
seemingly caused by the update.
