uninstalling updates

just wondering, when you uninstall an update from Control Panel >
Programs > Programs and Features > Installed Updates is it supposed to
delete the entry in Windows Update > View Update History? Because when I
uninstalled some updates they still show up in the View Update History
(they are removed from Installed Updates).
